Scholarships played a huge role in Tucker Bercier’s college journey. He chose LRSC because it was a way to learn to be independent yet close to home. While at LRSC he’s received honor scholarships, the Susan E. Greenleaf endowed scholarship and external scholarships.

“Scholarships have been beneficial in allowing me to focus on the content of my studies, rather than the financial burdens of education. The generous donors of LRSC have helped shape my entire career path, so I am forever grateful.

After graduating this December, Bercier transferred to continue studies with a goal of being a social science educator.

Hope chose Lake Region State College because she wanted a college with smaller class sizes. Hope is studying Nursing.

“I desired the opportunity to establish personal relationships with other students and my professors. LRSC is also super affordable and offers flexibility with my schedule.”

The affordability created a great cost savings for Hope.

“Tuition is affordable and the scholarships and grants I was offered were very generous.”

Although not an endowment recipient, Hope received honor scholarships and Royal CTE scholarship from LRSC.
