LRSC offers a range of scholarships to our students. There are many ways to qualify for scholarships and awards at LRSC. All current and incoming students should fill out this form! Take time to carefully complete the scholarship application and prepare a brief essay. Submit your application early so our Scholarship Committee can learn about you while they still have funds to award. 

Honor scholarships are specifically for first-time, full-time, degree-seeking students who plan to attend LRSC right after high school or GED graduation. Eligibility is based on community service, leadership, merit, honors, and academic achievements.

Scholarships & Waivers

Part-time Student Scholarship Must be degree-seeking at LRSC, have completed at least 12 credits at LRSC in the past three years, and maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher.$100–$300 awarded on a semester basis
Tool Scholarship Available to first-year Automotive Technology students. This $1,000 scholarship supports the purchase of tools and a toolbox. Half is applied in the fall semester and half in the spring.$1,000

The Named Scholarship Program is a project of the Community College Foundation which also sponsors the Keys to Opportunities Annual Fund Campaign. Established in 1959, the foundation has 501 (c)(3) status with the IRS and accepts gifts on behalf of LRSC.
