Phi Theta Kappa

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is the official honor society for two-year colleges, recognizing academic achievement and offering scholarships, leadership training, and service opportunities.

Lake Region State College’s PTK chapter was established in 2007 and chartered in 2008. Part of a global organization founded in 1918, PTK is based on four pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Fellowship, and Service.

Scholarships

PTK members have access to exclusive scholarships:

  • $246 million in transfer scholarships through 800+ four-year institutions
  • Scholarships for associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees
  • All-Academic recognition at LRSC

Campus Involvement

Members participate in service projects and academic activities:

  • Literacy efforts (book giveaways, reading events)
  • Service projects (Blanket making, food drives, Adopt-a-Highway)

  • Student Senate events (films, speakers, competitions)
