Experience

I worked as an Educational Interpreter and an American Sign Language (ASL) Instructor at the North Dakota School for the Deaf from the year 2000-2014. In 2014, I began teaching ASL courses at Lake Region State College both face-to-face and online. ASL counts as a Humanities and/or a Foreign Language credit. Therefore, I teach students attending Devils Lake High School as well. Outside of teaching, I have also worked in the community as a freelance interpreter for the past 25 years.
