Drop Dates & Refunds

(If dropping ALL classes, see Withdrawal Dates below.)

Dropping occurs when a student wants to discontinue a class but remain enrolled in another class that semester. To receive a refund, the class must be dropped by the 100% Refund Deadline, based on the class dates.

How do I drop a class?

Students can drop a class through Campus Connection. Students CAN NOT drop their final course in Campus Connection. To withdraw from all classes, a student must sign in to Campus Connection. Then go to eForms and submit the "Cancel/Withdraw to Zero" form.

What will my refund be?

To get a 100% refund, a class must be dropped before 9% of its length has passed. This is usually the 10th day for a full semester class and the 3rd day for an eight-week class. No refund is given after that unless all classes are dropped due to a complete term withdrawal. The class length calculation is based on the start and end dates. Class dates are listed on the Class Schedule in Campus Connection and include all calendar days, not just class days.

Withdrawal Dates & Refunds

Cancellation of registration and withdrawal from a term occurs when a student wants to withdraw completely from LRSC.

How do I withdraw from classes?

Students CAN NOT withdraw by attempting to drop all their classes in Campus Connection. To withdraw from all classes, go to Campus Connection, access eForms, and submit the "Cancel/Withdraw to Zero" form. If the student cannot complete this process, they should meet with their academic advisor or contact the Registrar’s Office.

What will my refund be?

Once a withdrawal is processed, the student cannot re-enroll for the semester. Refunds resulting from a withdrawal are calculated based on the class length. The class length calculation is based on the start and end dates of the class. Class dates are listed on the Class Schedule in Campus Connection and include all calendar days, not just class days. Classes withdrawn in the same semester may have different refund percentages if the class lengths are different.

Please note that you will only be refunded for the classes you were enrolled in at the time of withdrawal. No refund consideration will be given for previously dropped or graded classes. If you add a class after the 100% refund date and later drop it, you will not receive a refund.
