IPEDS

Lake Region State College participates in the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), a national postsecondary data reporting system. IPEDS collects data on enrollment, completion rates, student charges, programs, faculty, staff, and finances across U.S. institutions. The Student Achievement Measure (SAM) is a voluntary tool. It tracks the progress and completion of transfer and part-time students.

SAM follows student movement across institutions to give a fuller picture of undergraduate progress and completion. It serves as an alternative to the federal graduation rate, which only tracks first-time, full-time students at one school.
