GEM courses are designed to help military-affiliated students complete core general education requirements while building skills that support further education and career growth.
Courses are delivered online, allowing access from any location and accommodating students with busy or changing schedules.

Transcripts
- High School: Submit transcript or GED results
- College: Request from the school that issued your credits (includes CCAF)
- Order transcripts through Parchment. See Request Transcripts
Testing
- ACT or ACCUPLACER may be required for both degree and non-degree seeking students

Scholarships
- Apply for scholarships and financial aid
Students must request a new Student Base Pass each term they attend classes at Grand Forks AFB campus.

Tuition
GEM courses at LRSC are offered at a per-credit-hour rate of $229.74, with additional technology and system fees bringing the total to approximately $244 per credit hour. Lab or class fees may apply for courses with special materials, certifications, or activities.
Military students using Tuition Assistance (MiLTA or MyCAA) may have many fees waived, making the program more affordable.
