I am the director of the Dakota Nursing Program. A consortium of four community college nursing programs that include Lake Region State College, Williston State College, Dakota College at Bottineau, and Bismarck State College. I have been a nurse educator for 22 years. I have taught every class in the nursing program except Maternal/Pediatrics. My two favorite classes teach are Pharmacology and Leadership/Management.

I am on the board of directors for the CHI Midwest Critical Access Hospitals (CHI St. Alexius in Devils Lake, as well as the CHI hospitals in Carrington, Dickinson, and Williston). I was a member of the ND Board of Nursing for eight years, served on the education and technology committees, and was president for two years.
