Lake Region State College Marketing students had a stellar showing at the Collegiate DECA International Career Development Conference.
Five students from Lake Region State College had the honor of attending Collegiate DECA’s International Career and Development Conference in Orlando, Florida, April 12th – 17th. Maara Nelson and Joey Fougner competed in the National Management Institute with two other students from North Dakota – one student from Minot State University and one student from University of North Dakota. Their team placed first overall in the National Management Institute. Emma Poehls placed third overall in the Entrepreneurship - Growing Your Business event. Anthony Hoffart made the preliminary finals in the Travel and Tourism Event. Cassy Fayerweather participated in Sales Management Meeting.
“It was an outstanding conference for LRSC collegiate DECA,” said LRSC DECA advisor and marketing assistant professor Cindy Brown.
