Hamre Named 2021 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholar
Jackson, Mississippi — Garyn Hamre from Lake Region State College in Devils Lake is one of 207 Phi Theta Kappa members named a 2021 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholar and will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
Lake Region State College art instructor Deb Carlson will showcase her work during the Lake Region Arts Festival taking place in Devils Lake June 19th.
College for Kids kicks off June 21 at Lake Region State College.
The week-long event is tailored to students who have completed first through fifth grades.
More than 150 kids are registered for this year's event.
The Devils Lake Adult Learning Center held its commencement ceremony May 26th at Lake Region State College.
This year 30 students graduated and Bo Wojciechowski was named the center’s Student of the Year.
