Adult Learning Center Director earns national honors
Bridget Hanlan, director of the Adult Learning Center located at Lake Region State College received national accolades for her leadership and dedication to adult education.
High schools student invited to check out LRSC nightlife
Area high schoolers are invited for a night of activities and entertainment May 19th for Night Life at LRSC.
Numerous prizes will be given away throughout the night including Apple watch, Fitbit, Airpods, Ipad, and LRSC gear. Students also can be eligible to win scholarships to LRSC.
Lake Region State College held its annual art show reception May 4th in the Paul Hoghaug Library on the LRSC Campus.
Various pieces of student artwork were displayed in numerous categories.

Commencement exercises for Lake Region State College will be held Friday, May 13th, at 10:00 am in the Robert Fawcett Auditorium.

Lake Region State College’s Student Nurse Association – Associate Degree Nurse cohort recently donated $2,500 to the Lake Region UAS Team.
The funds will assist in the purchase of a new drone that Lake Region UAS will use indoors. The drone, called Skydio 2+ runs around $5,000.
Lake Region State College held pinning ceremonies May 4th for the four students who enrolled in the Paramedic to Nurse bridge program.
The Paramedic to Nurse Program gives experienced paramedics an opportunity to transition their career to nursing through specialized bridge courses.
Lake Region State College will not hold its annual College For Kids event this June. College for Kids is a week-long event held each June for kids in grades K-5.
