President Darling earns award from Phi Theta Kappa

Lake Region State College President Doug Darling has been selected for the Michael Bennett Lifetime Achievement Award from Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Retiring college presidents nominated by their Phi Theta Kappa chapter receive this honor in recognition of their years of dedication to student success and mentorship of student leaders.

The influence of Phi Theta Kappa is shaped by the support of college leaders like Dr. Darling. His nomination reflects the acknowledgment PTK students have for that administrative backing.

Darling will be recognized at Phi Theta Kappa’s Annual Convention, April 3–5, 2025, at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, MO.
