Lake Region State College’s annual Key Event silent and live auction rolls into town Friday, October 18th and promises to be the greatest show on earth.
This year’s theme of Under the Big Top will have you stepping back into the days of Ringling Brothers, Barnum & Bailey shows.
The Big Top is LRSC’s Hofstad Ag Center, where the event will take place starting at 5:30 pm with a social and silent auction bidding. A dinner, entertainment with a ringmaster and others will keep spectators going until the live and silent auction is complete. There will be a variety of raffles throughout the night.
“Each year the Key Event kicks off our annual fundraising campaign,” said Foundation Executive Director Erin Wood. “Dollars raised during the Key Event can be designated to support a wide variety of areas that benefit LRSC students.”
Auction items are rolling into the college, but the committee is still looking for some wonderful things for guest to bid on through the night. Do you have something to donate for the event? If so, contact Ashlee Collison at 701.662.1507. Key Event committee members will pick items up or items can be dropped off at the college.
“We are looking for a wide variety of items for the auction,” said Kris Johnson, Foundation Board President. “Having a wide array of items – small and large – indoor and outdoor – items for a man cave or she shed – we are looking for it all,” she said.
Party goers also can get their tickets now for the event. Cost is $60/person. Tickets may be purchased at LRSCFoundation.org, through Key Event committee members or by calling 701.662.1507.
