Lake Region State College is stepping back in time to a new century to celebrate its annual fundraising event.
The Roaring 20s is the theme of the Key Event, which will be held October 28th in the Hofstad Ag Center at Lake Region State College. The Key Event is the fun fall fundraising event for the Community College Foundation that supports Lake Region State College.
“Party goers can come ready for a night showcasing their favorite styles from the 1920s whether it be a mobster, Charleston dancer, Great Gatsby character, or others. Or people can come as they are, dressed for a fun night on the town,” said Erin Wood, Director of College Relations at LRSC.
Each year the Key Event kicks off the fundraising year. Dollars raised during the Key Event are used where need is greatest. In the past dollars have been used for programs, scholarships, support services, library, and other needs, said Elonda Nord, Executive Director of the Community College Foundation.
