Student Publication
This year’s edition of Shorelines seeks student writing and art work. Submissions are being accepted now! Remember to have entries that show good ta
ste, both in word choice and subject matter. Please avoid anything too graphic. We are looking for:
- Essays
- Poems
- Narratives
- Photos: highest resolution possible as these pictures will most likely be re-sized/made larger
- Artwork
- Ceramics
The writings can be from class assignments, and not just in English class. Sociology classes sometimes do weekly observations that I think could be developed into some interesting prose or poetry. Likewise, a current events class might generate some good writing.
Encourage those who you think have something interesting to say—or show-- and guide them to completion. A committee will review the selections and choose those that meet the standards of a literary/artistic magazine. From those selections, the magazine will be produced.
